Well, I was in the exact same situation as you a few years ago.
After moving in with the boyfriend, we only lasted a month before I regretted my decision, decided to move out, and broke up.

You need to go with your gut and not move in with him.
For me, the relationship was over, but I was too scared to let it go. After I let it go, I realized it was the best decision I ever could've made.

Are you still in love with him? Do you find yourself wanting to date around or be with other guys?

Okay, my opinion is that intertwining your life with a person is a big decision. You are right to be taking caution and making sure it is the right thing. Because of the level of seriousness of getting involved in someones life like that...i.e shared expenses and all that is tantamount to marriage. You don't want to enter into something LIKE marriage without having that full on committment. It's like saying, we can have all the benefits of marriage.....but either person can walk out at anytime........which is the disaster of a broken marriage and splitting everything up....i think deep down you want to know that you are worth it to marry....and to commit to and that deep down you do not want to take the steps there without the committment needed.
