Does these type of drinks really have very less sugar and thus less calorie? Or are they just a simple marketing lie?

They are zero in sugar. The reason they came out with these is to appeal to men who don't like to purchase "diet" sodas.

marketing lie period we feel like we have to come out with new stuff to keep you buying our product just kiddin i dont work for the coke company hehe
