Salad... but load it up with mushrooms, egg, lean ham or turkey, low-fat/non-fat cheese, sprouts, etc... No croutons. Then use a light dressing like a balsamic vinegarette which you can make yourself... mustard, a dash of Splenda, salt, olive oil, and pepper blended well makes a good dressing too. Fruit, unfortunately, has sugars in it. Granted, they are better for you than pure cane sugar, to get your body off of the sugar addiction try eating more vegetables (raw, roasted, grilled), chicken with no sauce (just rub with seasoning), seafood, and beef. Then slowly allow yourself FRESH fruit, and you will see a major difference with your cravings. I'm completely off sugar now, and couldn't be happier with my health or weight!

Try a salad with some grilled chicken. Also, apples are good for curbing an appetite! Try drinking some decaf hot tea when you start feeling hungry, and that should hold you over for a while. They say, also, when you start to feel hungry, to drink 8oz of water...I have tried it and it didn't work for me, but the hot tea did.
