No matter what, you're looking at at least 1 to 2 connection and about 18+ hours of flying. Here's you're more than likely route: Air Tahiti Nui from Tahiti to Los Angeles. That's about 10~12 hours. And then from there, your best bet is Air Canada to Toronto from LAX.
