I'm just looking for some testimonials about real life experiences with this surgery. I may be having it soon to fix a sinus condition.

I've had one, my mom had one and my brother had one.

It is a minimally invasive procedure used to evaluate the interior surfaces of an organ. Through the scope, they can see lesions, take small biopsies and retrieve some foreign objects. they are pretty painless, and it depends on where they do it as to whether or not they have to put you to sleep. I was asleep, my brother was asleep, but mom wasn't.

I've added a web page where it tells about endoscopic surgery of the nose, but really, don't get yourself worked up, it really isn't a bad procedure.

I had endoscopic surgery through my nose a number of years ago to remove a good sized brain tumor. Tumor was removed from around my optic nerves and carotid artery and some bone was taken out.

In spite of this, the worst thing about the surgery was that it hurt so little that I came round in a panic, terrified that they had looked and decided not to do anything.

I left hospital in less than four days, two of which were spent in utter boredom with the clogged up nose from hell, watching tv.

I've had worse experiences at the dentist (I'm a coward!!).
