I clicked 'no' when it said save changes, so i lost my work lol is there any way of getting it back or is it gone forever now?

you first need to go to Tools -> Options on your MS office program.

The dialog box that opens will have a tab called File Locations.

You will want to find the location of the AutoRecover files.

There you will find your file, It may not be the latest version of your work, but it will be there in some form.

AutoRecover saves every 10 mins by default on all MS Applications unless you turn off this setting.
