When you make the statement
"You abandoned Judiasm for Christianiaty.. then decide to abandon Christianity for paganism" who exactly are you refering to?
Who is a Pagan in your view? Athiest? Or believer in other, like Buddist, Hindi, Muslim, etc.?
Are you Jewish? Actually Christianity is an evolution of Judaism. Jews acknowledge Jesus (at least the Rabbis I've spoken to) but believe he was a Prophet, not the Messiah. Those that follow Christianity believe he was the Mesiah.
If you've read the Quran, you'll see that Islam is also an evolution of Judaism (believe or not). Muslims via the prophet Mohamed believe though that God abandoned his convent with the Jews due to not following the rules so to speak. And there has been animosity between the two ever since (sad ain't it?)
Your question sounds hostile, so I'm not sure if you're legitimately angry, or if you're just trying to rile people up. If you're sincere, hold fast to your faith and don't worry about other's so much (that's what causes some of these dumb wars to begin with). Wouldn't hurt for you to learn abit about other faiths before judging their believers so harshly either.
And before you get ticked with me, just remember...you asked....I just answered.

Paganism WAS around before Christianity, or at least in the UK and America before Christianity. Judaism, however, may have formed at a similar time.
What is so 'retarded' about Paganism? Are you one of those people who see the only decent religion as your own or those similar to your own?
Pagans believe a similar thing to Hindus, quite often (lots of manifestations, but one spirit/G-d), do you think Hindus are weak-minded too?
People like you have got to stop judging others just because they are not in the majority. Your G-d has no more proof than Pagan G-ds do, and your Torah is no better thant their beliefs either.

While I don't agree with paganism (I have my own problems with the subject, but that's neither here nor there) there is a gaping hole in your arguement. In order to change from Judaism to Christianity to paganism, one has to be Jewish first. Complianing about a change that existed 2000 years ago is silly since you're implying that all Christians are becoming pagan. A better arguement would be just going from one religion to paganism. And you are right, religion isn't like buying a new car. I don't recommend anyone just jumping into a religion because their friends think it's cool. It has to be a well-thought out decision.

You call your self a christian??? Last time I checked, your "god" teaches love & kindness. He also teaches that he will do the judging....not some mere mortal with an ego the size of yours. Read a history book....pagans are mostly peacefull people who respect the earth, and others no matter their sex or religion. Pagans have gotten a bad name thru history, because they were a threat to the church and so-called christians. There is enough hate in this world...Stop being a jusgemental idiot, and use some of that energy to make the wourl around you a better place.

Apparently youre Christian, right?
Are you aware you celebrate PAGAN holidays anyway? Christmas. Easter. Halloween. There's probably a bunch more but I'm not pagan so I don't know them all.
The thing is that the world was pagan before christianity became so cool. So when the people in power wanted the populace to consider christianity, they assimiated the old ways.
So in a sense you too are pagan. :-)
The christmas tree has nothing to do with Jesus. Go celebrate Saturnalia and decorate your non-jesus tree. I don't think Jesus said much about the Decemner shopping season or Santa either?

roflmao. I did what? What are you smoking? I was never Jewish and I abandoned Christianity for Atheism sometime while I was growing up (don't remember when). I decided Eclectic Wicca suits me best in 1998.
And yes, part of the freedom of the world is deciding your own destiny.
Not to mention, what the hell do you mean I "converted"? Becoming Wiccan isn't like going from Catholic to Protestant.
You have some studying to do to learn how the real world works. And believe me, I'm not the one thats wrong.

Funny, I don't remember ever being Jewish to begin with.... which sort of breaks that whole chain of events.
While it's obvious that you don't understand our religions, trotting out lines like "only a retard could believe in" is rather rude. After all, there's plenty of things about your religion that poeple would find odd or unusual.
People who are Pagan today either converted because they felt it most accurately described their beliefs, or because (like most members of other religions) were born and raised in it. It has nothing to do with "flavor of the month" views on spirituality, or anything like that.

Where do you get your information from? Must be digging it out of your fat fat bum!
News flash genius the pagan religion is older then any monotheism! The idea of looking at the earth as a mother figure is actually logical in the metaphoric sense since we come from and are sustained our entire lives by the earth. Then when we die we go back to that which we came from. There is need for a spooky God with penis envy having to prove he's big and bad!
The weak minded idea is rather funny since Christians are told what to believe and think by their church we as pagans can and often times do work alone to reach their own conclusions of things. The one that is weak minded is them that let others think for them! Like monotheists! YOU!

So in your book it sounds like converting to any relgion would be weak minded. Therefore we should all believe the "original religion", which I think would probably not be Judiasm. Don't bash other people's religions. Your time would be better spent learning about them.

well, the same could be said of you. To some christians only a "retard" could NOT believe in Jesus as the savior of the world. To some atheists only a "retard" could believe there is a god. To some hindus only a "retard" could believe there is only one god.
And by the way... why do you feel the need to put own people who are mentally slow? To certified geniuses YOU might fit in this category as well, ever think about it that way?
