I love Grease and I must admit to liking Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I saw it as a child and bought it for my son now aged 8 and he loved it. He loved the car, the flying, the singing - basically everything. Now he gets me to sing part of the song to him every now and then...
My heart beats so unruly
because I love you truly

Honest, truly I do!
He also loves Mary Poppins, The Princess Bride, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Willie Wonka and the chocolate factory (Gene Wilder) and The Wizard of Oz... The old ones are sometimes the best!

I LOVE Grease! Never watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang but how can you not like Grease!? Great singing, dancing and it's a classic. Each to their own and all that though I guess

Chitty Chitty bang bang is a big joke in my family... We always ask my grandma to say it, when she does she says chitty with an S (on accident) she an old church goin christian lady so it's funny
Anyways, i'm more into Grease than Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

same here, i have never watched Grease all the through, but love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, also like Bedknobs and Broomsticks....and i am a grown woman!!!....also cant stand Dirty Dancing

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is BEAST!!!! Grease sux @$$!! Who couldnt love a flying car, a mean King ~Baron Bombel~ who is trying to off his wife! lol and that child-catcher!...he was as creepy as Micheal Jackson....but that movie is FANTASTICAL!! lol Now all the songs are running through my head

Fair enough. I think Chitty... is quite nostalgic and cute. It is still watchable even now.
Grease on the other hand ......... images of naf wedding dance floors, hand clapping, karaoke all spring to mind. Let alone the film. Truly awful.

LOVE BOTH!! Brilliant for a sunday afternoon slob out in front of the tv singing ya head off to all the songs..Funny how I can only remember snippets of songs when thinking about them, but as soon as the films on... I know every verse...weird!!
