You need to drink your water during the whole day. Your body could get dehydrated quickly or you could cause stress on your kidneys. Drinking so much late at night will also cause you to pee all night long. Try spacing it out during the day, honey. It will help you be a healthier person. Godloveya.

Believe it or not, you can OD on water! My son did it. He tried to drink a gallon of water between about 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. one day (from the time he got off the school bus until I arrived home from work). He was probably about 10 years old at the time (he's 34 now). He started vomiting, couldn't eat his dinner, made frequent trips to the bathroom ALL night long, and definitly didn't want ANYTHING to drink! He was fine the next day. We laugh about him being water-logged to this day.

And by the way, I read an article about this very subject just the other day on the net. The article said that you CAN overdose on water, if too much in too short of a time is drank (which is what he did...a gallon in 2 hours)! It's the amount and time factor involved. If I could have remembered where I read it I would have given you the link, but I don't know now.

Kids do silly things sometimes...one time we dared one of my sister to eat a tablespoon of salt. She did, and she vomited!

any water is good water but if you have no reason to stay up at night, there is no point in drinking all that water which will keep you in the bathroom all night. Honestly, you should drink your gallon of water in the morning with your vitamins or throughout the day to keep your body working properly and not to overwhelm your body with that much water at one time.

It is absolutely bad for one's body to not drink water and drown your body with water later.. You will first be dehydrated because of lack of water that your body needs.. and it will cause your nerves to function ineffectively.. after you drink a gallon of water later before evening.. you will startle your body with the content of water causing it to function abnormally... think of it as an ulcer... once you ate late it'll startle your stomach which will cause pain but once you eat on time, everything goes out normally.. never let you body take the needed supplements late for there will be a corresponding consequence...

Yes there can be a danger associated with drinking too much water. It flushes your body of things that it needs and can cause damage to organs.
