I feel sorry for you but yes.. if you guys never actually talked about being boyfriend/girlfriend or in a relationship then you did read his actions wrong. Most guys are only out for one thing.. and it looks like he got it from you. If your cool with just being friends that are getting to know eachother then stick around.. if your not, move on and find someone else thats worth it.

Look at the words "boyfriend". that means that you guys are really close friends (bestfriends) and you and him love to spend time together. He didn't lie when he was getting to know eachother better. Then again, does he always say that around his friends? Does anyone at all know that you guys are together? There are chances that he is just using you to satisfiy his physical needs (sex, passion, kissing, hugging) there is more to a relationship that hugging and kissing. Just because he kisses you and sleeps with you doesn't mean that he really wants to be with you. Does he spend alot of time with you? Does he look you in the eye when he says he would never hury you? is is compassionate to your feelings? That tells alot about a guy. (I should know, I am a guy) There are two types of guys.

Those that are guinuine and those that are good liers and would do anything to get in your pants.

Sounds like he said what you wanted to hear at the time. In the throws of passion, men will often say what you want to hear. I am wondering the same thing my self about the guy I hung out with, so I'll be intered in the answers you get.

Hard to say. It sounds like he's keeping his options open. Most likely what he told his friends is true. If he's already slept with you before being in a committed relationship, I would expect his committment to be to deep.

You gave it up to soon maybe. Us women sometimes confuse love with lust. We may mean love and sometimes the guy well...only want to get some. Sorry about what happened. Now you know for next time.

Maybe he wants to take it slowly and he doesn't consider the both of you as a couple. Talk to him and ask him what's going on and hopefully the both of you can work things out! Good luck!

Men will say, do, and promise anything, with only one goal in mind. He succeeded. Please learn well, from this experience. It's part of becoming a woman!
