to be bias, i think muslims are treated badly from others, they dont deserve that!!! Im reading Quraan nowadays and i was shocked when i read it, you know i thought i'd read something like (kill all the non-muslims) but no, it's very deep and amazing! Muslims are very peaceful and loving people! They should be treated better! As a jewish i know how muslims treated my people centuries ago, they were so fair with us and after they left Andalusia we follow them to Morrocco coz the spanish christians never treat us the way muslims did, coz they are good people!

Being Jewish refers to the Religion, being a Jew refers to the Race/Ethnicity. You can be of Jewish Faith and yet not born a Jew.
As there are Muslims that are Non-Arabic all over the world.

The koran/quran teaches many of the same things the Holy Bible does, however, it is all in the interpetation of the reader.
Some people can read the Bible in its literal sense and make it be horrible also, same as the Quran. If you are a kind person who loves God, and does good will you will see both books a great deal differently than a person who means to do harm, then you look for a specific thing and when you go looking one usually finds it.

Muhammad did not marry a 6 year old. It was common at that time for people to marry girls who have reached of age and become a woman. There is a difference of opinion, some scholars say she was 9 at the time, some say 19. But regardless, it never mentions if they consumated their marriage right away. Anyways, her youth proved to be a great blessing as young people have great memory, and so she was able to remember alot of the Blessed Porphets sayings and mannerisms...She was a great Muslim scholar herself that many people came to ask for advice after the prophet himself passed away. You of all people should see the truth in Muhammad's message. When Jesus came, didn't the Jews insult him and call his mother a prostitute for her virgin birth? Same way you insult a blessing for muslims by saying Muhammad married a 6 year old. Shame on you. The truth is never recognized by the masses...just as the society rejected jesus during his time, jews and christians rejected Muhammad, but those who did not were highly honored, even God praises them in the Quran. Those pious Jews/Christians who recogize Gods Word in the Quran will be doubly rewarded for they have believed the Truth 2 times when given the chance.

The religion teaches peace and tolerance. However much of what is preached definitly doesn't condem violence against civilians as the Qurran states.

And since you mention the jews and muslims lived side by side in harmony for decades, even centuries, and it's not the mislims fault. What DID you do to make them so mad at you?

read The Haj by Leon Uris. Book Description
Leon Uris retums to the land of his acclaimed best-seller Exodus for an epic story of hate and love, vengeance and forgiveness and forgiveness. The Middle East is the powerful setting for this sweeping tale of a land where revenge is sacred and hatred noble. Where an Arab ruler tries to save his people from destruction but cannot save them from themselves. When violence spreads like a plague across the lands of Palestine--this is the time of The Haj.

It will help to give you an insight of the Middle East situation

It is very good that you are taking the time and effort to learn about the culture and religion of others. Continue to learn by reading books on Islamic history. Education is always beneficial.

Good for you for being open..I like reading religious texts too- the Bhagvad Gita, Quran, Torah, Bible, and have been looking into Zoroastrianism.

We are all cousins in faith, and the people who follow Abraham are actually very close.

Muslims are treated unfairly, just like the Jews have been, it is unfortunate, I just wish people could learn to except cultural differences.

Like any religion, the Islam religion has very high and good principles. the problem is that the people who say they practice it do not really do so. they are hypocrites. same with the christians and the buddhists and hindus, and certainly the jews too. all hypocrites.
religion = good
people = bad
