No. I did not expect it. I had full faith in it. I have since spoken to the pharmacist and she says its a common occurrence. Dead or alive its still doing something to me whether you believe me or not...I have the flu!!!!

Of course you have the flu. It does say have a jab for the flu, it doesn't say have a jab against the flu, now does it?

Stay at home and drink Whisky, lemon juice, sugar and hot water. Drink whilst very hot. After a while you don't care either way, but you will feel better in the morning.

You will be wedding fit by the 16th. Have a lovely time.

As has been said, the jab will not give you flu, it could be a bad cold, caught from a million places or people. Paracetamol, no more than 8 a day, honey, lemon, lots of vitamin C, arnica gel for aching joints, warm baths, not too warm a bed, no running a marathon or laying a new patio, fresh juices.......right as rain in no time :) Hope you catch the bouquet.

To begin you cannot get the flu from the flu shot since a dead virus is used for this. You either had a virus waiting to happen anyway or this is all in your head because you were convinced you were going to get sick. Meantime the 16th is over two weeks away. Good grief how long do you think this flu could possibly last???????

I do not think it is is flu, just a reaction to the jab. You will be fine by the 16th. Enjoy the wedding! And, Merry Christmas!

Ness has the right answer ... bed ! Don't exert your body. Liquids, plenty of them. Not sure about the paracetamol which doesn't help recover but makes you feel better. Food, keep it light, no dairy, and plenty of fruit.
Good luck, hope you feel better

I seriously doubt it is actually the flu, just a cold that has conincided with your jab.

Just get over it!
