NO! It's a SCAM! Stay away from this!!! Yahoo Finance does NOT act as intermediary on ANY sales transactions!

Hint: You should NEVER buy a car on-line until you have traveled to the seller's location and personally inspected the vehicle and the paperwork. If you can't afford to protect yourself that way, they you should NOT buy the vehicle, no matter how good a deal it appears to be.

I believe Yahoo finance is just a section of the yahoo page where you can find market news and other such information. I don't believe that they are in the business of doing any actual financial transactions. You should find a reputable escrow agency and use them instead. An escrow agency will, for a fee, take both the money and the car and hold them both. Once they get the money from you and the car from the seller then will transfer the money to him and the car to you.
