Eat bananas and potatoes and other foods high in potassium to prevent and or ease the pain of muscle spasms in my body? I've had my potassium and calcium and iron blood work done and everything appears normal. Yet I have to suffer daily with muscle spasms. What diseases cause this, besides pinched nerves. I'm worried sick and my doctors don't know what to do for me. In addition I have a elevated sed rate and I have elevated liver enzymes. Because of my elevation in liver enzymes, my doctors won't give me anything orally for my arthritic pains. So they give me shots, which aren't worth a hoot for my pain. Now I have these muscle spasms on a daily basis. They occur in my hands, feet and legs and now severe muscle spasms in my abdomen! I'm in agony and I don't know what to do. Please someone give me some sound advice here. I've had second and third opinions and so far no one can come up with a solution to my problems. Honest and sincere answers please....thank you.

I was just reading all of your questions and you seem like you have a whole bunch of medical problems.

You don't say where you live, but can you get to a major medical center and get a complete work up starting at square one. If you are being treated for so many different things, the drugs maybe causing problems or each person is looking only at their specialty and are not seeing the big picture.
