Really? I've never noticed.

I think maybe that there is less demand for 1% milk. People who are health conscious would probably go for the fat free, while those who don't really care would stick with the whole milk or 2% for a creamier beverage.

So, perhaps 1% milk needs to be a tad cheaper to maintain optimal sales.

This is just my guess.

it is probably the least purchased %age of milk...2% is usually what i buy....die hards (figure watchers) buy skim and families buy whole for the babies and kids.....in my opinion 1% could be done away with altogether...really whats the difference (besides one percent) between skim and 1% and 1% and 2%?
