I met a friend in Asia, I am an African and he is European, our friendship grows to intimately. We spent nights together playing and doing all bed rolling. He started asking me what kind of boyfriend I need, I did not answer precisely because the answer is- him. He has 80% of what my dream man must be. now we stay in close cities in europe. He respected the fact that I do not wanted to have sex with him for a long time, when I calls he answers, when I need him he is there, he teaches me lot of things. We have been to holidays together, we had and still having best times together. He is mad about my culture more than I am with his culture. I am learning his mother tongue and he has started to learn mine. Not so long I will be vising him at his place and he wants to visit my place also. What he is not doing is to declare his love which I believe he does and sometimes enjoys to be off line. What might be the reason? I feel frustrated because I love him.

love is in the action, not the words. And it seems he is doing the right things. Remember that for different persons "love" can mean something slightly different, such as people calling love what other might call a crush, and in my own country, there isn't exactly a word for "crush" either, just to illustrate the point. Do not forget that you both come from different cultures and this may be where the difference lies. What about you, have you declared your love? maybe in his culture, the guy does not readily talk about his feeling, but might response to your when you do. So I think it might just a cultural misunderstanding, as it seems that he is interested in you very much and learning your language, what a beautiful thing to do since it take commitment!
well, I guess the way if you confess, you may see if something happening. Hang in there!
