Very nice! Try to find an all inclusive package for a destination wedding...

Just throw destination wedding into Yahoo Search and you will come up with all kinds of stuff in all price ranges...

I had a wedding for 50 people for less than 1000 dollars, not recommended but very nice just the same...

Hope this helps!

My daughter had a destination wedding in the Outer Banks of NC with only immediate family (9). Her entire wedding dress ensemble was bought on a great sale. She researched and got the best deal on a baker for her cake and photographer for her professional photos. We both created cute, affordable and classy decorations that she liked. My husband (her step-father) loves to cook and he prepared a wonderful reception dinner!

She did such a great job cutting corners and expenses, that I was able to treat her to a spa day on her Big Day.

It can be done and it can be lovely. Put the emphasis on your union as man and wife. The rest is just the "cherry on top". :)

Best wishes!

It sounds really intimate and beautiful, one thing to consider sometimes on the resorts the other visiters aren't considerate of the wedding and still continue to hang around on the beach sometimes around the ceremony mostly people are great but a few can ruin the moment. Another thought, im assuming your flying in, pack yours and your partners clothes throughout all of your luggage this way if something gets lost you will still have clothing and take the most important stuff as your carry on. Otherwise i think the natural beauty will be the perfect wedding backdrop, sounds great best of luck to you.

Unless you are from Mexico, make sure you have someone legal to marry you & that you have all the proper paperwork, documents, shots, that are necessary.

I've performed weddings where there was no more than the bride & groom, as witnesses aren't needed in some areas.

Congratulations!

My wedding will only be 20 people and local. I don't want to deal with all of the stress and the expense. Your idea sounds really romantic. It's your special day. And if your fiance agrees, you should do what makes you happy. If this doesn't feel like a compromise or that you're cheating yourself...go for it!!!

We had our dream wedding ceremony. We had 38 travelers and we were given married on the sea coast (inner most). The reception change into on the sea coast hotel on the sea coast we were given married at, and we had a leading dinner and liquor, magnificent musicians, fab cake over searching the sea and the sunset. After 2 years, easily everyone nonetheless comments that that is been the finest wedding ceremony they ever attended. sturdy success

I think that sounds great. As long as your guests can afford to be there! Make sure to thank them for making the trip. Because of their travel expenses, you may want to politely tell them that you don't expect a gift. It depends on how things are done in your family.

Enjoy!
