You need to do a little research and think about these incidents for yourself instead of letting the media spoon feed you their bias ideas.
1. I trust the words of the police more than i do some scum bag drug addict informant who could be lying about it being a cover up. Even if it was a lie, the woman began SHOOTING AT POLICE when they started up her porch. The police RETURNED FIRE.
2. The boy in the school weighs 200 pounds and was in the process of violently attacking a female school mate. The policewoman weighed about 125 pounds and was about 5'2. The boy would not comply with verbal commands to stop. Would you rather the boy be striked with a baton? Or maced? Tazing is much safer than those. Or would you prefer the officer just watch this 200 lb boy beat a fellow female student (and by the way he was not 6 years old, he was in 6th grade.)
3. The man in NY infered that he had a gun to 2 undercover NYPD officers. He then stormed to his car saying that he was going to get his gun. The NYPD officers then identified themselves as police officers and told them to turn off the engine. The man inside the car ran hit one of the NYPD officers with his car, and struck a NYPD vehicle. He was clearly trying to run the officer down. So the NYPD officers used deadly force against a deadly threat ( the person in control of a 2000 pound moving object). THAT is why.

I live in a small town in Tenn. and my husband had worked at the P.D as a jailor , I did have a very good friend that was a county cop and now have a friend that's an x- chief of police and have not only heard but allso seen how the system works here . In this state , you either feed into the corruption or loose your job . The police here do what they want and they're very much so covered by the system . The hole system is corrupt ! There's been many situations here where, ie: 13 law enforcement cars raided a house , every vehicle the cops were in , marked and unmarked. All of them raised the hood of the cars so the video cams that they now have installed could not video what they were doing . The evedience that wasn't there that was on the search warrant , the cops themself put it there themself . This is not the first time this P.D. has done this . I myself seen a situation as to how they work and call it law enforcement and justice . The media want even come if called . On one incedent a new paper photo. wasn't even allowed to take pictures . They public dosen't get to know about it via/ media ! Our tax paying monies pay for this. I myself am indirectlly involved w/ a situation where the P.D. is making there own rules . I'm doing a lot og leg work , investigating ect. all on my own time . There 's no justice to be served here where I live . I run into a wall every way I turn ! My fear of being arrested for trying to see that justice is done I'm sure will eventually get me jailed , that's happened here allso ( not to me ) . I'm a law bideing citizen but from where I'm standing today and in this St. of Tn. there is no justice . I'll not give up because I do believe in justice and not corruption . You are innocent until proven qulity , but not here . If a cop was to shoot some here and kill them there's no doubt in my mind that it would be justified .Corruption is the name of the game ! The best thing any one can do is stay out of trouble and not have to worry about the cops .

This is the gradual decline of common sense and logic. In the new Police State of the United States, the citizens are forced to turn in their weapons, their right to bear arms is whittled down to nothing and the Courts will always take a cops word over a civilians. Sadly, it used to be better: if a cop were found guilty of committing a crime, the book was tossed at him because as a cop, he was supposed to uphold the law and protect the people. Today, the prosecutor prefers the police, and will seek a minimal sentence for any cop tried and convicted of a crime. The guy who shoved a stick up a suspects butt got less than the maximum...and his buddies just won the right to rejoin the NYPD.
Unfortunately, this is all part of the strategy of confusion. To further divide the majority working class and poor, the USG and Powers that Be employ racism, sexism, homophobia, immigration, drugs and many other issues that keep us from joining forces and seeing how the wealthy elite who run the USG and PTB are truly raping and bilking the citizens.
TO TRUE BLUE: Those pigs in GA had a no knock warrant, and their "informant" told a FBI Investigator that he was threatend to "back up the police version" or else disappear. Of course, the sheep will always say: The government has our best interests in mind. Wake up.
TO RYAN T: The NYPD rules prohibit a police officer from shooting at a moving vehicle, IF THE VEHICLE is the only threat. THe undercovers heard Bell get into an argument with someone who claimed to have a gun. Allegedly, the undercover, who had been drinking to KEEP HIS COVER, heard one of Bell's friends say his gun was in the car. Witnesses heard "HE HAS A GUN" come OUT OF THE CAR!!! and then the car began to speed away. You choose to believe those who would trample on your rights, and that is your right to choose. However, you would have been the first to line up in Germany when the SS came a calling.

first off the 92 year old lady shot first-shooting all three cops..that is a sad situation, the cops were not in the wrong, but I'm sure the 92 year old lady was not in her right mind either (her kids shouldn't have let her have a gun in the first place)-it's not the cops fault and it's not the elderly lady's fault, it's just a sad situation....-there was no cover-up.. if you are making accusations reveal your source please...they had a search warrant, they announced themselves-she fired, she got killed-sad, but no one is really at fault
didn't hear about the 6 year old boy... please show your source
The guy in New York, sad as it is... struck a cop with his car and then backed into another cop car-sad as it sounds.. there was another person supposedly that fled the scene.. something sounds fishy about it... I don't think it was cut and dry like they are claiming it is.. and you said it exactly, no one knows why- we weren't there - it is still under investigation

I think people have their facts mixed up on all this. One, the lady shot first. She may have been 92, but they were still real bullets coming out of the gun. As far as the NY wedding guy, he was NOT shot at 50 times. His party was shot at 50 times by 5 officers (2 white, 2 black, one Latino) after one of them tried to ram one of the officers with his car. OF COURSE they're going to shoot at them for that; that's assault with a deadly weapon.

Well the first thing you have to realize is the cops are people just like you and me. They have a job their job is being a cop. Just as you and I go off everyday to our jobs. People are not perfect, they make mistakes etc they overreact, they go on power trips etc. Don't blame the cops blame the person whose job was being a cop.
Cops have a very dangerous job especially in big cities with all the violence nowadays, it makes them very weary and perhaps a little too quick on the draw. The ones who shot 50 bullets apparently was so freaked out they couldn't control their fingers to make it stop.
I think the screening process for cops definitely needs to be improved upon, and the fact that alot of cities are in need of cops so badly they maybe let some slide that shouldn't have.

there are 2 sides to every story, and most of the time the media only gives one side, any officer has a worst nightmare and that is to draw there weapon and use it, the majority of the police that do end up with permanate emotional scars, and end up leaving the force, you really have to put yourself in there shoes, in a situation wear guns are involved, they have the right to protect themselves or others from any kind of deadly force. We hear only the minute situation wear things have gone wrong, but across the country in a day they save many lives and if they justifiably have to use the last resort of drawing there weapon to protect themselves or the citizens, men woman and children than so be it and a job well done.

Unfortunately our legal system has more loopholes that help keep our criminals OUT of jail than keep them in. If a burglar is injured while breaking into soemone's home the BURGLAR sues the HOMEOWNER and the BURGLAR wins the lawsuit just because he has a more expensive lawyer. Such is the pathetic state of our legal system.
