if love is so great and wonderful, why does it hurt so much?

You have to work for anything good... in love its so great and wonderful because you have someone you can be completely open and vulnerable to. But because you are so open and vulnerable its when you can get hurt the most and hurt someone else the most. Love is scary but its worth it to have that connection with someone.

If you didn't have the pain you wouldn't be able to sit back and realize how much you love someone.

because if you feel soooo good about something, then when its gone or leaves, then you will feel as bad as the good was, you cant have one without the other,
