Pilates, will make you look longer and leaner. I do it from time to time to relieve stress.

Pilates is known as one of the worst kinds of exercise for weight loss- it actually burns less calories than yoga and does nothing for the cardio system.
I suggest you try running or swimming or jumping rope- something that will burn a lot of calories to ensure weight loss. Pilates in not a good idea.

I'd go for Yoga! There are many different types, but all will help you lose some weight and slim down. Go to www.self.com and read the article and workout from Jennifer Anistons Yoga instructor. She combines yoga with calisthenics for extra calorie burn. Also add some cardio before you do the yoga and you will be good to go! I have been doing this for a while now and I feel soooo much better than I ever have before with doing all those other workouts....

Pilates will not lead to weight loss. It WILL tone you up though. The best thing to do is to eat right..no processed or fatty foods, and do cardio exercises and do Pilates along with all of that to tone up as you lose weight.

My diet is very simple. I eat a healthy breakfast then I work out with friends maybe 4 times a week your choice. I run do cardio kickboxing lots of stretching very important. I learned that in Track and Cross Country. Then for lunch I have healthy protein shake with lots of vitamin's and the same for dinner. For snacks though out the day it has to be veggies or fruit and lots of water. NO SODAS it helps retain water. Oh and Ice tea and water is a great repacement of soda.

once you're consumer-friendly, it should not be too puzzling. purely run 30-40 minutes universal on the park or round a music, decrease out the soda and junk foodstuff, and also you'll likely lose 10 pounds in about 2 months.

Both pilates & yoga will help keep you limber and lithe, but they burn relatively few calories.

If you want to lose body fat, you'll need to change your food choices.
