I work at a bank and i can tell you that it depends on what kind of account it is, and what bank it is. Bank of America is very expensive while co-op banks are usually more friendly and smaller. My personal bank is a credit union and i don't get charged for anything.

Nope don't pay for anything, not even checks. I have free checks, checking, atm withdraw, able to go into the bank about 10 time a month for free. I like my bank never hand a problem with them. You need to switch banks.

sometimes,if you do not take care about your accounts,bills etc..not only the banks the different companies in charge of bring you services use to add while you do not check charges that may be they were offering free or they did not mention to you,in that case call or go to your closer bbb(better business bureau) office.

No I don't get a monthly service fee but they make up for it by charging me for darn near every little thing they do for me.

They only charge checks, everything else is free, you need to change your bank
