Im letting my perm grow out . I have a couple of inches of perm left. I was wondering how do I control my natural frizzies? Or what products can you suggest to lay my frizzies down? Oh, my natural hair is very thick and wavy and I live in the south where the humidity causes your hair to frizz up...I hope that might help. Please help me!

Good luck going natural. Have you gone to http://www.nappturality.com yet? It will help you out tremendously.

If you mean the frizzies around your hairline, you can use ProStyl hair gel or buy a small jar of beeswax to lay the frizzies down. As for your thick roots, I feel your pain girl. Get some Let's Jam heat styles smoothing balm. You put it on after you wash your hair and then you blow dry. It will make your hair press smoother it you want. Or if you want to just wear it natural it will keep your hair moist all the way to the ends and make your roots more manageable.

Well, I don't know about "Fantasia IC Frizz Buster Serum." It straightens! I think its temporary.
Try these: Fantasia IC Deep Penetrating Creme Moisturizer/ Fantasia IC P.M. Night Time Oil Treatment. This is good for blow drying: Fantasia IC High Potency Leave-In Aloe-Extra Dry Treatment. Fantasia Shea Butter Sheen Spray is also good for softness and shine, but don't think the specs show it as a defrizzer more so than a smooth finisher. Yet, it does say silkener.

Now, for more nature textured results: motowngirl.com is a good website resource for natural products, articles, etc. for intermixed or all African American hair types.

I'm doing the same thing
At the moment i have my hair braided. Thats one option
Two...
Use a Straightner on your natural hair. I use dax pomade while straightening then i tie it down for the night
Use less heat on the straight bits
This should last you for a couple days.
Be sure to deep condition your hair to avoid breakages
when retouching use a lower heat setting

Hope this helps

Well you can just flat iron or press your hair to control frizzs. Aslo its probably cause you dont put enother hair products in your hair. Also when you wash your hair you can use a frizz control shampoo and conditioner. Also you can use a dentangler for frizz control. So I hope soon you will be able to control your frizz problems and pick a way that works best for you.

When I was transitioning I used Pantene ProV Smooth and Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner. I would blow dry my hair then use the flat iron on the new growth. Wearing you hair in roller sets, straw sets, other rodded styles will lessen the appearance of your new growth too.

Try "Frizz Buster" serum by Fantasia. My mom and me both use it and it has worked for both of us. You should be able to get it at any hair supply store.
