I think that they will also give you coverage while your pregnant and your baby coverage after birth. They won't cover you after birth unless you're breastfeeding. (medicaid or whatever program you qualify for) NO ONE will cover you other than Blue Cross Blue Shield and even they will only pay 70 % of the birth related costs. No prenatal care is covered. Additionally, you must have NO care for the "pre-existing" condition for 6 months. (basically like I said, no prenatal care is covered) I know this because I just went through it. I had to get medicaid. The only programs that will cover you are "discount" types and that isn't real insurance. Also, check with the hospital you plan to deliver at.
