any one taking equerto for bi-polar what is difference than tegretol?

I am rapid-cyling bi-polar currently trying to find out about equerto verus tegretol they say equerto is slow released does it help better than tegretol which is fast acting i guess does it cause weight gainalso any good chat rooms for bi-polars thanks have a great day
