I've run out of ideas...

I want to get a man who "has everything" but who has been a tower of help to myself and other families over the past few months, and we want to buy a gift for him...HELP?

He's in his 40's, long-term relationship. I know he's interested in race horses, and property.

Many thanks

More than anything I think he'd want gratitude most. Perhaps baking him some various goodies or inviting him over for dinner. Maybe honoring him in some way like making him the godfather of one of the various children of one of these families or maybe more than one. Even basic blessings (God bless you, or if you are Catholic the sign of the cross when he is there).

I think your major problem is that you are trying to go big, to give him something monetarily on par with what he has done for you. Forget the money, and go with the feeling and you should do alright.

It IS difficult to buy something for a person who has everything they need and want. Maybe you could find an interesting book on race horses at Barnes & Noble, or a calendar maybe. Really, just keep in mind, it's the thought that counts. He sounds like a nice guy, and would probably appreciate anything you give him.
