I am excersizing regularly to tone up and know that drinking more water will help the process along. The issue is that I hate it, I can put down a bottle as I'm working out and I switched to green tea and Crystal Light during the day but I know it's not enough.

My question is how do I get the most from what I do drink? Should I sip it throughout the day or just slam bottles when I have time to pee every 5 seconds? Are sugar-free beverages and tea just like water?

You should do what I do- time yourself for fun on how fast you can chug a 16oz bottle of water, and it'll make you drink it anyway.

Did you know that drinking ice cold water and getting brain freeze burns 10 calories?

Sugar-free beverages and tea do contribute some to your water intake, but the tea, and some sugar-free beverages contain caffeine. Caffeine is a diuretic and actually causes your body to release water.

If you stick to the Crystal Light and similar drink mixes, you should be fine.

I hate water also. When you drink a lot of it of course you have to pee very often but as your body get use to the water, it will decrease the number of times you have to go to the bathroom. I drink Nestle Flavored water, it comes in citrus, lemon, strawberry, raspberry and of course plain, its not carbonated. It has no calories. They come in an 8 pack and cost $2.99 at target. Try it. I found myself keeping only water in the fridge and now my entire family drinks only water.

Drinking green tea is the best. Not only does it provide hydration, but it also provides antioxidants which fight all kinds of disease. However, it contains caffiene which is a diuretic (causes you to have to urinate often). Try the decaffinated brands. That should help some. Other than that, just drink water.
