i went 21 days straight once without a day off.I was tired but when I didnt have to get up at 4 in morning to drive to work that day I was relaxed. The worst I have ever done is 28 hours straight...that is worse then 21 days in a row cause at least you have time off in between.

Yes. It happens more than you'd think.

Each week you get 2 days off, right?

Let's say your store's work week starts on Sunday. Your days off that week are Sunday and Monday, the first two days. You work Tuesday through Saturday. That's 5 days in a row. But wait...

So now you're on the next work week and you've already worked 5 days straight. Your boss now schedules you to be off the LAST 2 days that week, Friday and Saturday. That means on top of the 5 days straight, you have to work Sunday - Thursday. That's 5 more days. 10 in all.

And you only worked 40 hours each week. You got 2 days off each week. Yet, you still had to work 10 days in a row.

This happened a few times for me at Wal-Mart. It's not too bad. I think I complained about it once because it happened back-to-back. And you should probably tell your boss if it happens a lot to one person in particular and they're struggling. The upside to it is that you can end up with 4 days off in a row.

With Monday - Friday jobs you'll always get Sat and Sun off, so you don't have to worry about 9 or more straight.

when i started my own little biz, i used to work for around 18 hrs a day with no holidays to discount my life. This was a struggle for 5 years, when i couldnt take it anymore. I've done it like a maniac.

Yeh, now am having back problems, and have lost a little on the fitness, but it's been worth it. Am cherishing life now with all those savings and income.

Yeah, you can... might be sore though
You need at least one day off for rest, about after 6 days of straight working out
Don't overtrain like I did and become near-sighted! (this really does happen, but it has to go on for a long time)

work as in job? or exercise?
job - yes, if thats what ur boss says to work and as long as its not too labor intensive u should do just fine.

exercise - i would not recommend it. it wears down on ur body and is counterproductive. you will not get the same results from day 9 that u get from day 1. the body needs rest and time to recoup.

Depends on the type of workout. If it's swimming easily, taking long walks, easy jogs...sure. But hardcore workouts will probably lead to an injury.

Why do honeymoons only last 6 days?...

Because 7 days makes a hole weak.
