Just come back from a Buddhist temple 1 hour ago!Had a visiting monk from California giving a sermon on morality!
So what goes on in the temple?When there is no function devotees might come and do meditation.Not much decoration,but we have a big Buddha image with neon light behind the head!You are welcome to visit any of the Buddhist temple!

u come in, pray if u wanna, think. i've been in several. anyone can come in regardless of religion as long as u dont make a ruckus or bother people.
based on local culture however there may be bits of custom and stuff in that particular geographical area though.
flowers are taken in when chanting a certain prayer, which is about accepting that like the flower u will bloom and one day u will wilt away, just like all things in life.

there are windows and no chairs. there is not much decor inside in order to stay focused and so as to demote materialism
