Of course they do- it sounds like your perception of relationships has been damged in some way- probably by someone and I'm sorry to hear that. People's definitions of a meaningful relationship can be very different, but i assume you think of meaningful as being serious and loving. Love will always be there- it's a timeless truth of life- just don't give up looking for it; it will come to you- i promise !!

Of course, it is all just matter of finding that someone that clicks with you. I dont believe there are any other types of relationship other than meaningful ones. If I am going to put time and effort into something I expect it to be meaningful. But yes they still exist, Im looking for one too. The key is not giving up hope.

That's because marriage and childbearing have both become obsolete. Now that there's no real need for meaningful relationships, a lot of people are choosing not to try to have one. Singlehood is more meaningful to me than a relationship. But that's just me.

There are plenty out there wanting a meaningful relationship-with the right person. It's one of those things where-when you least expect it,expect it!!
Just be open to meeting new people, and don't try to rush things.

Just because there's a few sour grapes in the patch doesn't mean the rest of us aren't edible.
... meaning, don't generalize. A few people in the world who have given up on meaningful relationships doesn't mean we ALL have.
