I think children should be raised in a male-female household, the world is made up of men and women and children need to learn both sides.

I have no idea, I've only known people who grew up with "two moms", but not the opposite. However, I do know a couple that would make a great pair of dad's. Like for all children, it really matters on what kind of people the parents are - are they loving parents, or could they care less about their kids? If they are loving, then it really shouldn't matter their orientation. However, 2 dads probably guarantees some teasing and discrimination ahead in life.

i have nothing against gay people but i dont think that they should raise children. children need a balance between a man and a woman, both sexes provide something for the child that the other cannot. now im not saying that a child raised by two men or two women will turn out a total disaster, but it is preferable to have a man and a woman.

No-it matters that a child has a loving, supportive and nurturing environment. A child can survive without those things but a child will become a successful adult with those things. My sister is a child psychologist and she will tell you the biggest concern is neglect and abandonment. Children who's parents pay them little or no attention grow to be neurotic regardless and children who are cared for are more successful and better able to handle the world and it's struggles. Hope this helped!

I feel that it is no different when a same sex couple or a heterosexual couple raises a child or children. The child needs love and discipline to grow up respectfully and become a productive member of society.

If a child is wanted and raised in a stable, loving home, where they are protected and all their needs taken care of, who cares about the gender of the parents?
If my husband and I were wiped out in an accident, I would much rather my children be raised by my loving, caring, committed gay friends than my own married, selfish, manipulative sister and her doormat husband.

no as long as the kids get the love that they diserve that does not matter who raises them my god father is gay (not that it matters now i'm 20 lol) but if the parents think that a gay cupple is good enough to raise their child if something was to happen than thats all you need to know right there

I don't beleive in gays, but I will say that a child deserves love and if they both can give him that. That is a gift that means more than anything.
