My wife tried to flush out gallstones by going on a special diet. No fat all week, and then on Saturday morning drink a cup of olive oil. The idea was to force the gallbladder to overwork with the 100 grams of fat in the olive oil and flush them out.

She tried this for 8 weeks, and had several attacks during the process. It did not work, she went in and had her gallbladder removed. No problems since the surgery. Have the surgery, you will not regret it.

Even if they're really teeny enough to pass, they could get stuck in the duct. Then you're not only in a world of hurt, but it's dangerous, and you'll have to be cut open, not just the semi-noninvasive laproscopy.

Mine was the size of a golf ball. No way to pass that sucker! So mine's been yanked. It's not that bad really. If you have tummy issues, talk to the doc about what to do about all the bile that wil start flooding your stomach.

Best of luck!

You cannot "flush out" gallstones.
If you have gallstones, you probably also have a very bad gallbladder and will probably have to be removed.
