I've seen Isaiah 40:22 quoted here.
"He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. "
It says "circle". Not "sphere". Why must you lie and/or twist words to fit your agenda? The author of this book used that word with clear intent and clear context. If the heavens are like a canopy and spread out like a tent, how are you going to put that over a sphere? You cannot have a tent without a FLAT SURFACE.

Come on, people. These are deductions made from common sense. A novice reader would be able to come to the same conclusion.

Ok so we know God made the earth, right? Why would man have made it a certain way after God did? That would not happen, for man does not even have the ability to do that. God made the earth sphere, the way it is...

Isaiah 40:22
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

It wasn't lost. There never was a god. The discriptions in the Bible, which talk of Earth being a kind of island held up by four pillars was just an attempt by people back then to explain things.

some passages are certainly taken out of context. maximum, notwithstanding, are the outcome of misinterpreting the language used. i ought to lean in direction of the latter on your case. First, the sons names were Cain and Abel, no longer cane and able. 2d, there have been different little children. 0.33, there is no longer something interior the Bible that precludes the threat that God created extra human beings after Adam and Eve. effortless good judgment ends up in effortless conclusions, yet effortless good judgment seldom ends up surely.

God made it that way. As far as man could see, it was flat. So why do people still not believe in God?
