I do believe in the spiritual rhelm such as Jesus and Angels, and Satan and Demons on the flip side.
Not too sure on ghosts and things.
I do also believe kids are more in tune with such things, as their minds are so innocent.
When my daughter was 2, she used to laugh hysterically and talk to someone. One day while laughing I asked her what was so funny. She very frankly responded (still giggling) "That Jesus! He is just so funny!" She would also sit and gaze at our figurine of the crucifix and rub the feet with her finger upset about His "boo-boo's".
She may also be speaking in the 3rd person as well. My youngest does that sometimes when she is embarrassed or afraid to tell us something, she will act that it was someone else. (she is 4). There may be something bothering your child that she is ashamed or afraid to explain. My son (5) has been having nightmares but DOES NOT want to tell me about them for fear it will come true.
I would suggest talking to her - nothing serious, it might make her more scared or feel like she is in trouble. Some casual discussion while you 2 are playing. Only briefly - from time to time - like it's no big deal - to make her feel comfortable.
I would also pay attention to her surroundings when she gets scared. It may be something on TV, a shadow that hits at a certain time of day, a noise from an appliance, you never know. Something so simple may one day spark imagination and scare them to death until they understand what it is.
Good Luck!
(Parenting is such a fun little mystery game, huh?!?!?)

She may have seen a news report or scary image on TV that is haunting her and she lacks the articulation skills to explain. My daughter was about 4 when She woke up one night to hear a news story about a girl being pulled from her bed through a window and killed. She refused to be near a window and saw monster/evil things in windows. It was a long time before she remembered that a girl was pulled through a window and killed and she still has issues with windows but is getting better. You can only be reassuring and help her know she is safe. If you have a belief in angels let her know there is a special one watching over her. Eventually you will know what caused this sudden fear but until then all you can do is be loving and supportive and pay close attention to when this occurs for clues that might help you help her feel safe once and for all. Good Luck!

Sounds like she is re-living a bad
dream and trying to reduce it into terms she can understand. Could be she wakes up at night, spots
something in her room and can't figure it out. Her
brain stores these images for later and some how these images scare her. What does she watch on
t.v.? Maybe she doesn't understand what she is watching and is reacting as only a 3 year old can.
If it continues take her to her doctor and have her
checked out.

Hoo Boy! You DO have a problem. Your daughter is obviously very gifted and has seen through the smoky veil that we call reality. What she has encountered is an imperfect glimpse of the Multiverse inhabited by Zarkon and his bloodthirsty minions. They lie in wait for just such naive innocents as your daughter, and then emerge (usually from beneath a scum surfaced pond) and do unimaginable things. DO YOU HAVE A *** SURFACED POND ??????

I had an imaginary friend as a child, when i was lonely. but to me I remember someone being there. Our son had an imaginary friend and still remembers him now. hes 19 now. His imaginary friend was allowed to do everything that our boy wasnt. Was he really there? I dont know but we used to set a plate at the table for him. And why does our son still remember him? I wouldnt worry, some kids hav them some kids dont. Is maybe your child scared of something but blaming her friend.

Monitor what she's really watching on T.V! Alot of cartoons that are made for 7years and up are not really supposed to be intended for toddlers to watch..I don't know if that might be a reason in your situation though.......

At this age there imaginations are going wild!! My son is three and terrified of his bedroom because there are "things" in it. I would ask her about it, but most likely it is her imagination..if strage things start happening at your home I guess you'll know.
