I suggest you contact the manufacturer, tell them the problem, and give them the production code from your package. Most reputable manufacturers do not want to lose you as a customer and may offer you a refund and/or coupons.

In the meat packaging plant, stainless steel parts are normally used in the process and there are times when a teflon-like plastic also contacts the meat prior to packaging. Metal detectors are used for the finished product.

You can only sue if you have damages. If you ate the hot dog, got sick, had medical bills and lost time from work, then you would have damages and might sue. Might sue and can sue are not the same thing. Even if you have grounds, a lawyer won't touch the case unless the damages exceed around $200,000. It costs a law er about $50,000 to bring that type of lawsuit and they won't even start the case if they think they can't recuperate that cost plus some extra.

If you didn't actually eat the hot dog then the only damage you have is the price of the hot dog. Not enough for a court case.

I don't think so. If you have ever seen how hot dogs are made you would see how unlikely that it is to have an actual piece of plastic in the dog. The knives inside the machine even grind up the bone in a turkey tail. I spent a day working at a hot dog factory. The dogs are actually 99.9% fat. Like for a turkey dog they get a big gaylord box full of turkey fat, this includes the bones in the hind end piece. They shovel all this in this machine and add chemicals and those knives just puree the whole business. I still eat hot dogs, It is the American thing to do, just like apple pie and baseball.

I had the top comparable factor take place to me and it exchange into an Oscar Meyer noticeably spiced warm warm canines. 2 of them certainly disintegrated on the grill. I observed as Oscar Meyer and that they suggested to deliver what I had left to them and that they might deliver me packaging cloth and pay for the postage. They despatched me a extensive-unfold damn envelope to mail the frozen warm canines decrease back to them which I did. They despatched me a letter approximately 2 months later that the nice and comfortable canines I despatched into them have been too decomposed to objective something and that i'm specific they meant that by no longer sending a refrigerated field kit. I crapped plastic for a week yet survived. I have been given 3 loose samples out of the entire deal which I threw into the trash and have not offered yet another product from Oscar Meyer for the reason that. It does no solid to objective and sue for the reason which you are able to no longer practice the plastic got here from them. it could have been in the bun or something you positioned on the nice and comfortable canines. it would be exciting to understand although if yours exchange into an Oscar Meyer variety because of the fact they assured me no longer something like this had ever occurred until eventually now. I even have been given an workers pay stub in yet another product from a distinctive company it exchange into style of no longer common for them to disclaim that. no person or no longer something is exempt from distant places gadgets getting it there nutrients i assume and it could even come from a disgruntled worker too for that mater.

No, you should not sue the company. Did you ingest it? Did you choke? Were you hurt? Or are you just looking to make a quick buck?
