Sure, alot of futon shoppes sell them..they are made in all different kinds, and prices of wood, pine being the least expensive!
They sit right on the floor..and you can use a real matteress with them!

You can take the wheels off a standard frame and it will be close to being right on the floor.

Oh ya. I have seen them. Just look on the internet at all the furniture store. They are usually considered modern frames and they look really nice.

You can purchase a bed box frame from Ikea. Or if you're handy, make one out of wood.
