I don't think there is such a thing as getting a stronger chin because it's not your chin but your brain rattling around in your head.
I've had alot of concussion's from fighting and playing football but never lost a fight because of it, just don't remember it.
My friends would tell me about the fight a few days afterwards, I didn't like being like that though because I could control myself normally but not when I had a concussion so I was scared I'd kill someone.

Although yes, you can improve your chin, and eat more punches by improving your neck and jaw muscles, also by improving your neck flexibility. But i would advise not blocking a punch with your face, in most societies this would be considered sub-smart. Instead of training your neck all the time to take more punches, get faster, a lot faster, train speed like your life depends on it, learn to slip, sidestep and parry, focus far more energy into these activities than just getting better at getting hit, having a strong chin is a last resort, you should be able to pivot around an opponent and punch him without ever allowing him to touch you. Another way to improve your chin without actually getting stronger is technique, boxing isn't all about who's got the bigger set of brass balls and can take more hits, that foolhardy and stupid. turn your face ever so slightly when your opponent is throwing a punch and lean your head slightly to the outside of his punch, this will take a lot of the force of your opponents punch away from your brain and gives you a great oppurtunity to counter-attack. Also, never under any circumstances tilt your head back for any reason, don't ever glance at the ceiling or whatever. Look through your eyebrows into his eyes and keep your chin farther protected, this may seem slight, but it also re-directs the force of your opponents punch, rather than straight through your chin into your brain, rendering you unconcious, your jaw will get caught swing down slightly and relieve tension through the muscles and the joint. Now for actual excersises, get into your pushup position, tilt your head down and put your forehead on the ground, probably put a mat out, don't rest on the top of your head and put stress on your spine, rest on your forehead and try to keep your nose roughly a quarter inch off the ground, this will be difficult in the beginning, so support yourself slighly in the beginning until you build up the strength to do this excersice, there are no reps, this is a static hold and you time yourself. This excersise is a good one. Also, if you listen to heavy metal, go to a concert and head bang to your hearts content. Lots of neck work there.

Stand there & cop a few, after awhile you'll "get used" to the punches. It's all psychological, you've got to not think about the pain from the punches. Keep your jaw closed and tight to avoid it being broken and focus on your opponent waiting for an opportunity to throw a clean yet effective punch.
That can give you a first round KO

there is nothing you can do eather you can take a punch or you can,t yuor chin is not made to take a punch. now what you can do to help[ you take a punch to the head is do a lot of neck exercise this will bild up the muscels around the neck and will act as a shock absorver other than that bob and weave stick and move

i guess i agree with the following comment by KNODD. i remember watching a few YOUTUBE videos of FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR.'s training videos. and he would lay flat on the mat and have his head stick out at the edge of the ring. he would be wearing that helmet that allows you to strap weights on it and he was just doing reps and working out his neck.

as for myself. i guess u can say im thinking about persuing a career in boxing... and i've sparred with my trainer a couple times. i took his blows. i guess the 1st comment could possibly be true about the GENETICS thing. because me and my cousin sparred(body shots only because we didnt have HEAD GEAR) last weekend and our BODY TYPES are almost the same. i was throwing body shots at him and he was throwin back at me. we were just going at it back and forth and he accidently aimed too high and landed a hard right hook to my face and i took it like NOTHING and kept boxing as if it never happened. and he was hurting with my left/right hooks to his body and i took his fine. all im saying is i guess i can take hits and it may be genetic.

if u take a look at a few boxers such as GATTI as compared to MAYWEATHER. they both have good chins i guess but GATTI somehow always gets CUT and Mayweather barely has a mark on his face. some people bruise/swell/cut more than others.

my theory is... if u keep SPARRING and learn to take hits then ur body is bound to get used to it and ur skin will strengthen up or tighten up similar to KICK BOXERS building up a strong skin around their SHIN area.

well thats about it for me... i think i wrote enough.
