Of course you can garner a strong attraction for a person. Strong enough to where you believe its love. Everyone falls in love differently. I do believe it's possible to have a strong affection, attraction and desire for a person that you haven't met face-to-face. Is it a strong love or true love - that's the better queestion.

Well good for u !!

I hope u r right 4 each other and do whatever u want to. It is nice to hear someone talk about falling in love... u soppy old romantic fool u !! Much better than meeting 4 casual sex. Not my cup of tea.

People have been getting in touch and falling for years by letter or by phone so it's only a slight progression from that on line.

It is certainly one of the best things since sliced bread for meeting someone, especially as u have probably ascertained u have a lot in common.

The last part..... don't ask !!!!!!!

good question - I really hope it works out for u. Maybe that will be the next big romantic blockbuster !!! It could make for a great film of boy meets girl on the net sort of thing?? !!

good luck

I thought I was in love with a girl I met on the internet about 6-7 years ago. We had about the same amount of contact that you and your girl do. We were so positive that when we met, we would stay together. When we finally did meet, it was a huge shock of reality.

Even though we never lied to each other about anything, and even though we knew almost everything about each other, we totally didn't click together at all. I think the answer to your question is no. When you fall in love over the internet, you fall in love with an image, and that isn't really love.

Maybe you'll have better luck than I did, but remember that nothing substitutes for human, face-to-face interactions. They are the only thing that can tell us about our attractions to one another.

With the Internet, I would have to say yes but be careful you aren't in love with a person's alterego, which many people have online vs. offline lives. And just because she told you what she looks like and sent you a pic doesn't mean that is what she really looks like either. Just be careful.

You can easily and quickly have a crush but love takes longer.

IT'S NOT LOVE!!!! love comes with friendship, compassion and communication, actually spending time and making eyes. Meet her and then decide, Love comes with time for now it's just deep fascination. You'll see in time, buddy. These things can work, trust me, I was chattin' with some girl on line, met up with her and Now I am so happy, she's even better in the flesh, funny, sweet and cute. I haven't felt this way for ages.

Yes it is possible to fall in love without meeting someone, there will be people out there who will say this is rubbish , it may or maynot last but follow your hart and enjoy the happiness while it lasts ,However long that may be

yes of course.. this is normal.. but the big problem is u r having a platonic love, if u meet her someday are u going to have the same feelings for her??
this happened 2 me once, i fell in love with a guy on the net and then when i met him i felt nothing..:( so be carefull about what u r saying to her. dont rush things now.

You have to be ready to accept the fact that it isn't really love - I don't think you ever really know unless you've been with someone a while, but you can certainly feel like you're in love and that's really just the same thing.

to be honest with you, i think you can. but the thing is, you are fallin for who they are when they are online, but will you fall for who she is when she is not online?
or is that really "she"?

to love someone, one second is all you need. it dsnt matter is a person is "fit" or not, have a great personality or not. because as they say, love is blind my friend".

and how easily do i fall in love? quite easy wen she is the one, and quite hard when she is not. i loved a girl a lot, i fell in love with in a blink of an eye. but i realise when u really are in love, it may change you and your partner, and thts how we both fell out..
anyways, enough of me yapping!

good luck!!

yes!! my fiance and i had a group of mutual friends, but he and i went to different schools. (the freinds went to his school, then moved to mine) we didn't meet each other unitl the end of that school year, but we'd emailed each other several times and immediately clicked. then we met each other, and well, obviously everything has worked out sicne we're getting married!!!
just be careful with the online dating. she could have sent you a phot from a site like iSock photos, which are free and anyone can use them (usually artists use them as reference photos for drawings). soshe might not be as hot as you think....but if you love her other than that, than your love should overlook her physicla flaws...after all love is blind right?
