Why is there so much hate in the heart of the Western and American people for Islam and the Muslims?

Westerns don't have hate for Muslims because they don't know Muslims very well, Christians and Jews in old country have hate for you Muslims because they know you well enough and lived around you and your abuse all the time and they know exactly what is the Islam all about. hmmm Im so suprize to hear this questions ,u should rather ask why do muslims hate so much west Usa .and Israel Its not new anymore that imams teach and indoctrinate muslims against west ,Israel and usa ,the show only negative sides of west and christianity , while they live toghether with their entire families in west countrys and take benefits from west . Have u forgot the cartoons skandal ?? "Behead those who insult inslam , we want danish blood ,europe 9-11 is coming after u " are only few slogans that "peaceful muslims" were shouting in London . Not talking about burning ambasies and killing cristians as a revenge for cartoons . And this was hapened in most of islamic countrys ,thousand of people were doing this not just a "few radicals " like muslims use to excuse their horrible acts done by their brothers . Attaking an ambasy is a war declaration ,did u know that ??and this was started by muslims in the name of their religion , thaks God we were not crazy as muslims to respond to their war declaration. Peaceful people doesnt get offended all the time like muslims use to do . Its seems like they just wait to find reasons to start a war . Ohhh yeahh And dont forget abt bombing in London ,Madrid ,Bali ,India ,South of Thailand ,Egypt ,Turkey etc etc . Or perhaps they expect flowers and thanks in return .

Anyone with some intelligence and who is somewhat able to think for him or herself would realize that there is no good reason to hate muslims/islam.

Sure a few terrorists did some horrible things, and these people claim to be muslim. They also claim to be males - does this make all males bad?

Some extremists went too far. Extremity is the issue, not islam. If I recall history correctly, the christians have killed a whole lot more people than the "muslim" terrorists.

While I wouldn't call it hate, there are many ways in which western culture and Islam are out of sync. Whereas western culture promotes freedom of expression and individual liberty, Islam promotes a rigid morality that has little room for embracing the quirky among the population. In the west we are willing to accept the compromise that there will be occasional moments of extreme speech or actions because most of us want to ensure that we will be allowed to engage in extreme speech or actions if at some later point we wish to do so.

What's more, the liberal west is moving away from things like capital punishment, rigid sexual morals, religious incursion into secular life, and different rules for women than for men. Islam encourages all of these, and its practitioners seem intent on keeping society in-line with Muslim morals. Quite frankly, I will protest any suggestion that western society's approach to our social struggles is flawed. We're working on them, and they're getting better. Personally, I see little evidence that Islam is working on improving its approach to social problems. If anything, Muslims are applying old solutions to new problems, with disastrous results.

not everybody hates all muslims and islam we don't like the radical teachings that muslim fanatics like osama bin laden and saddam hussein and some governments in the middle east teach and practice as they are teaching hatred and preaching for all muslims to call jihad and murder the infidels i mean don't you think that's a bit much on some of those people's behalf we realize that not all muslims are like that but at the same time we take caution because nowadays you just don't know who's who anymore it's a very sad thing to say but unfortunately it's true

because of their media cuz the media lies so much about islam and muslim. the media is getting so many people to hate muslims, but at the same time so many become so curiouse about this so called "violent" religion that they end up researching and learning the truth and finding out how peacefull and knowledgeable religion islam is. its the way of life. you cant imagine what muslims in some countries are facing cuz ur not their such as palestine. they have no weapons and they end up using what they can find to defend theirselves and their people. they use rocks and sticks to protect theirselves from guns and tanks and such. do u not feel sorry for them and if one happens to have a bomb and goes into a whole bunch of killers and explodes they make a big deal out. when jews are killed in palestin they give u so much info on it and when thousands of palestanians are killed everyday they dont say much about them in the news. why? when muslims are killed in mass numbers they dont detail on them unless someone uses a bomb. i hope u understand what im trying to say. email me with more questions.

First of all I do not hate . Secondly, let's not confuse Muslims and Radical Islam . And btw, 10-15% of Muslims follow Radical Islam . That equates to more than 100 million people who are hellbent on killing us all . Those are the facts .

Ugly rumors such as the rewarding of 13 virgins for blowing yourself up and taking innocent "infidels" with you (I can't express how disgusting that is); AlQaida; Ayatolla; bin Laden. Young girls stoned to death because their ankles showed in public. The burka. Any religion that does not have equality among men and women is doomed (I hope).
