You can ask one of your friends to get ordained by the state. You'd have to check with your state to see how much the fee is. You could make it special by having a close relative or family friend do it and offer to pay the fee.

I think the only person who can marry you outside of a justice of the peace is an ordained minister, priest, or preacher. And court is probably the cheapest.

I was married at the JP office for $40, and for $100 they will come to you...this is the Dallas/FTW area....but the JP's are usually very cheap. If you have a minister or priest do it, its usually customary to make a donation to the Church for their services.

Have one of your closest friends get Ordained they can do it online and it doesn't take that long. That is what I am doing, and it is free cause it's your friend, and it will be something for the memory bank~
