Holy Scriptures:
The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to man the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God's acts in history. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; Heb. 4:12.)

MAYBE NO WAY TO KNOW THAT
With Moses compiling Genesis and Job, writing Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy to complete these 6 books, 2553 years after Adam, 897 years after the flood, 1513 years before Jesus and Jesus 2006 years ago, 3519 years ago, I can not believe that it has so few errors.
Num.33:38,39 Aarin died in the 40th year.
Deut.34:7; Moses died in the 40th Year.
Josh,5:6,10,12; Joshua ends 40 years at 898 after the flood, Judges 11:26 adds 300 years to the death of Judge Jair or 1198 after the flood is 1212 Before Christ.
Moses dies 897 after the flood to 1Ki.6:1 480 years to king Solomon 4th year at 1377 years after the flood, he has 36 [ of 40 ], years to 1413 years after the flood 1Ki.11:42
he dies 997 years before Christ. In the next 391 years until Babylon Empire #3 ends Judah kings and makes the Promised Land desolate [ THERE WILL BE NO KING UNTIL THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST JESUS ]. 2Chr.36:20-23;
The rest of the bible books are done 606 before Christ.
Then Isa.45:1; Told 200 years ago about Cyrus in Empire #4, The Promised Land is
as Ezra, Nehemiah, Mordecai & Esther, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi are finished by 443 Before Christ.
With a history like this back then, and the N.T. finished 50 to 100 after Christ and wee are 2006, after Christ, why do we need it perfect, mark an error as an error and work around it and some where it may be made clear or it may not even be that important.

How can it be. Wasn't it written 300 years after Jesus? The stories were handed down by words from one to another. Not written for 300 years. I would assume that at least some of those stories were exaggerated or , shall we say, greatly "enhanced?" Did you ever play that kids game where someone whispers something in a kids ear and they in turn have to whisper it in the next kids ear, and so on....by the time the sentence gets to the last kid, it either makes NO sense or is totally different from what the first kid whispered. If the things that happened in the bible were actually written down as they happened, then i would say yes. BUT under the circumstances, I would take the stories as maybe half truths. Also I have heard that in the 16th century, I believe, one of the kings did not like some of the stories and had them re-written. I read THAT one on Yahoo Q & A.

If God made the earth have a 12 months with 365.25 days, 365.2484 days or the different quantity, how does that instruct that there is not any God? i think of that the earth had 360 days from creation to the flood. previously the flood there replaced into an ice water cover (shelter) over our atmosphere (the Bible says that God separated the waters above from the waters from under - the Bible additionally says that there replaced into water under the earth (floor), no longer in basic terms floor water, yet seas of water that have been released in the time of the flood whilst the fountains of the deep the place opened). This ice shelter would have been some ft thick. whilst it collapsed in the time of the flood, it amassed around the earth's magnetic poles (ice water at -3 hundred F is magnetic. because of the fact of this the "ice age" went father south in usa than it did in Russia, because of the fact the magnetic pole isn't based on the north axis, yet close to Canada). All this new weight hitting the earth led to it no longer in basic terms to warble and tilt, yet additionally has slowed the earths orbit a sprint. Did you ever ask your self why a circle has 360 tiers? Did you ever ask your self why Stone Hedge (and different astronomical structures) do no longer line up? it is because of the fact Noah and his family individuals knew that a 12 months had 360 days in it, yet they did no longer understand that the earth replaced into now slower. The descendants of Noah shop making dividing circles into 360 factors. They build astronomical web content that did no longer soak as much as account the longer years or the lean and wobble of the earth. I honestly have blanketed an internet site that I only appeared up in case you opt to examine some one else solutions (extra effective and extra finished than mine.) additionally do a seb seek with the foremost words "360 days a 12 months previously the flood" for extra web content.

Nothing is perfect in this world, including, the bible. Isn't the bible a collection of translations, anyway?
In other words, there are different authors of the gospel and its individual books.
Who's to say the original form wasn't perfect? Maybe the current version is different because of translations and interpretations.

None of the original Bible is around today. All that exists is the translations. If the original Bible were still in existence, you would be able to read it (if you were an ancient language scholar) and evaluate it for whatever your evaluation is worth.

I will most likely catch hell for this but I don't think of the bible as a perfect document.
The original text (or so I have been taught) was created by men who were inspired by God but they were not scribes so their words were recorded by others who could write. Some may have been inspired by God given visions and those visions were interpreted by the seer .
In my mind the Bible was given to mankind as a guide and a record of our history. God gave us free will and the intelligence to interpret the words of the prophets and disciples for ourselves.
And if we get it wrong HE knows why we got it wrong and will forgive us.

Could be wouldn't have to be. As the word came to Moses it was perfect...as Moses wrote the word could he have made a typo?.......the meaning is what was important..the message.. it is a tool God uses to communicate with his people it is not God therefore needn't be perfect in the sense God is perfect if it were it would stand a good chance.. as it still does of becomoing an idol.

Even with all it's translations, the bible is still completely accurate and INERRANT. There are no contradictions and those who try to explain away the things they don't like aren't being true to God. God bless you with understanding and the knowledge of Truth. ~Nise

No; be it inspired by God or an account of truthful events, it was still written by the hands of men, and thus cannot be presumed to be without flaws.
