depends on the outfit. revlon color stay is nice if you want a 16 hr wear. almay has a wonderful water based foundation that covers too. eyeliner needs to be applied thin and then get a smudge brush to blend it in.
if you need some more info, let me know. :)

Kajal pencils are easiest for beginners.Practise makes perfect.
Once your hands are really steady ,you could choose between liquid eyeliners or pencils.
It all depends on the shape of your eyes and what kind of results you want to achieve by using eyeliner. eg.If your eyes are very close to each other, you might not want to draw the eyeliner all the way to the corner of your eyes ( to avoid looking like a doe)
I suggest you visit a make-up counter at the mall.I am very sure the beauty advisor will show you how to and the best way to use eyeliner to enhance your beauty.
Look out for the word 'non comodogenic' when you buy foundation.that means , it won't clog pores. A good make up removing session is also important at the end of the day.

Get the eye liner that looks like a felt tip pen. (it will say on the package). You have more control and it looks great. Also, try to get water-proof, you'll thank me for that! The BEST foundation is Bare Minerals or any thing like it. There are other products that copy, and are fair, but Bare Minerals is WONDERFUL! No irritation, zits, nothing, just great, natural looking skin. You can even sleep in it!

i suggest liquad liner on the top, starting thin from the insider then getting thicker as you go out, with a bit of a flare at the end of the eye. a really good liner that works well for both the top and botton line is the Physicians Formula Eye Definer Felt Tip Eye Marker, i suggest ultra black. it gives you excellent control. And as far as foundation goes i would suggest Benefit, its what i use and i never get breakouts.
