Depends on what it's regarding. Friend can often have good advise but not always when it comes to your relationship. you have to realize if these are the same friends your tell all your relationship problems and cons to, they may not be the best people to go to for advice. And as far as your significant other if it's about your relationship he is more than likely to advise you in the direction that best suits him not your concern. if it's concerning life in general get advice from both and take what you need from their advisories to help you work throug your situation. a good man and good friends will be looking out for your best interest.

depends on the circumstances. If you've been friends with this person for years, and your significant other for weeks, then maybe. It also depends on what they're saying, and the motivation behind it. If she's saying that he treats you badly, but you don't think he is and you're happy, maybe she wants you to leave him cause she likes him, or b/c she doesn't have a b/f.....

I would and do. I can relate to my best friend easier than my husband. She and I have much more in common. She is more understanding. Usually when he talks it is about work or fishing, or fixing a car. When she talks it is about family, religion, relationship issues, music... I can talk to her about anything. Whereas he gets bored with our conversations easier, and vice versa.
