I don't know if you are the ONLY ones, but I don't.

Alhumdulilah. Even though I dont celebrate xmas that is so nice of you. I used to work in a assisted living home, and they love company. Especially children. I think it would be great and maybe others can learn to give like you. Even a smile is considered charity, and volounteering your time is wonderful it is very pleasing to God. Just remember to do it for God not recognition, it is all about intentions. Insha'Allah you will have good deeds on your side on the day of judgement.

Wow, what a fantastic idea! I make greeting cards and have a lot left over from what I did for an organization I belong to. I know a lot of greeting card crafters but none ever mentioned that they take them to nursing homes and pass out. Hmmm...you've just given me an idea to produce something voluntarily!
Kudos to you and your sisters! I applaud you and thank you for the idea...now I can "pay it forward." (It's not always about money, is it?) :)

I confess I have not made Christmas cards for them but I have gone with a choir group to sing to them at Christmas. I have also visited many who belong to our church who are in nursing homes.
God Bless You. You are doing a wonderful thing. If you have a pet, they enjoy having pets visit them as well. It really brightens their spirits.

i don't think you are the only ones that do it, but that doesn't lessen the good that you are doing for the nursing home residents. God bless you for your thoughtfulness and kindness. keep it up.

Like you, most people have good intentions and are filled with ideas of how to spread joy and happiness. It seems you have acted on your ideas, which most people don't have the guts to do...well done.

I don't think too many people do. Glad you're telling people about it - your example may just be followed.
