sorry if i was unclear on my question but it can be any book. for instance use the book 'the proper care and feeding of husbands' and give a cake pan and a cake mix. or use the book 'cinderella' and give cleaning supplies.

You should really try an iMemoryBook. It would be a 'book' all about her and her man.

You could take a notepad and pass it around get everyone to write their favorite memory about the bride and then print them into a book. I did one of these iMemoryBooks last year for my roommate.

I was trying to decide what to give my roommate for his wedding present. After seeing iMemoryBook I came up with a great idea. I convinced Derek and Wendy to write "He said...She said" stories about the way they met and the way they got engaged. Then using iMemoryBook's invitation system I sent invitations to all of his family and friends, in Utah, and all of her family and friends, in California. Then I watched the book grow online. I was amazed at how smoothly this book grew with the iMemoryBook system. Over 70 people got online, viewed and contributed to the book. The final book had over 200 photos, 75 entries(memories), and 100+ pages, iMemoryBook has helped me create something I wouldn't have even imagined possible.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/Dl94N

Maybe some roses, from the book "Rose Red". I would go to the bookstore and look in the romance novels for ideas, not the mushy stuff, but a nice romance novel. Maybe some nice champaigne and glasses with scented candles. I hope this helps. I love books and can usually come up with more, but not right at the moment for some reason. I hope you find something nice. No matter what you find, i'm sure the gesture alone would be appreciated.

Cook books......I still have mine from my wedding shower. It has come in handy so many times. You can even wrap it up with some cooking stuff. You could also take a little bit of a spin off and get a subscription to a cosmo or something they have some great tips that the couple could use their first year of marraige and its a gift that last a whole year. Get a copy of it, and a throw blanket, and wrap it up with a nice ribbon.

a present that is based on the title of the book? or just a book? based on the title of a book, any book, is just wacky--there are millions and millions of books! so good luck with that! if it's just get a book, i'd get something about sex since it's a bridal shower and that's the time to give that kind of thing.

Martha Stewart is putting out a new housekeeping book this week (like organizing an entire household, taking care of everything the proper way).

Or, just any cookbook plus a gourmet ingredient that belongs in one of the recipes (Italian cookbook plus a little bottle of good olive oil).

Did they give any hint as to what kind of books they are looking for/refering to?

This may be going out on a limb, but the first book I thought of when I read your question is "Like Water for Chocolate" by Laura Esquivel. It is a novel about the life of a woman, her passions (including food), her strong and complicated relationships with her family, and her lifelong commitment to the man she loves. It is a wonderfully romantic story that features all of the great things in life: love, sex, self respect, and chocolate! You could give the bride a copy of this book, along with items that fit in with its major themes.

Maybe a book on Kama Sutra with some sex toys or find out where they are going on their honeymoon and get them a book about the location with some things they could use on their honeymoon, i.e. if they are going to a France, you could get them a book that will teach them how to speak French or if they are going somewhere tropical, you could get them a book on their destination with beach towels, sunblock and things like that

make the gift a book, you know like the Kama Sutra, or the ananga ranga, kama kapla, the book of 1001 positions. it will be the best gift.
I got the Kama Sutra for my wedding,(can you imagine opening that in front of the minister).
but make sure you do it in the bridal shower and the priest is not there.

I would get her a candle set for a romantic night, you can never go wrong with candles. Also since the theme is books you can just tell her you got the idea from a romance novel. That way the candle would go along with a romantic night. If that makes sense!!!
