We know that our bodies conduct, and use differant types of electricity for our everyday operation.(thinking, remembering, breathing, heart beat...I could go on and on) My question is, what is our power source? I mean every machine has to have a source of power no matter how simple that machine is.
(And please do not try to inform me that electrocal impulses are not preasent in our brains...I may not be able to spell, but I am not stupid!)

You will want to study metabolism and cytology.

The food you take in is broken down primarily into simple sugars (glucose) that is transported through the blood stream to the cells of the body. Organelles in the cells called mitochondria use the glucose to create Adenisine Tri-phosphate, the primary energy carrier in almost all forms of life known. It contains energy in the bonding of the third phosphate atom (bonding energy is, of course, an electromagnetic process between atoms via the interaction of their electron shells).

------

Metabolism *IS* the switch that turns us on and turns us off. When we are just an egg and a sperm, we aren't doing much. But put those two together so you have a complete genome and you have some pretty complex metabolism start. Death is the end of that metabolism by whatever cause it comes by.

That's a deceptively simple question! We get chemical energy from the food we eat, that's converted to the electrical activity and body heat and so on you mention.

But from what I recall of college biology classes there are dozens of different kinds of reactions going on, requiring a lot more than just simple sugars to keep it all going. It's like a symphony of carbon based chemistry going on, and all the proportions have to be just right or the whole dang thing seizes up like a grade school science fair volcano. Not enough potassium in your diet, the nervous system collapses, that sort of thing.

Seriously man, people spend their lives studying that exact question. That makes it a good one, but hard to answer here!

It comes from what connects all living things together, the spirit. No, I'm not talking religiously or of any deity. I'm talking the living spirit that never dies when our body dies. We do, however, need to have a functioning brain for the spirit to survive in the body. Technically, if a person is brain dead then the spirit no longer exists in the body and that life support is just keeping the 'husk' alive. I know, I'm going to get several thumbs down for this but oh well.

"what's the source of your nonexistent magic?" "The human body has no ability in it " Boy i'm ill of listening to this. Has each person heard of quantum mechanics, Einsteins spooky action at a distance, wave applications? purely because you do not see it or study it contained in the bible does no longer advise it doesn't exist. element of my faith is the manipulation of ability. causing wave applications to break down a particular way. it truly is element of the Goddess and Gods universe. How each and every thing is linked. The ideas with a touch help and preparation from the Lord and female can do outstanding issues.

Essentially chemical potential energy from food we eat, converted to electrical energy as needed to stimulate nerve fibers. We are far more complex than any mechanical or electrical device yet created, so there is no way to make any comparison to our surroundings.

Our body is an amazing ecosystem in itself. The power comes from nutrients and food. I think you are looking for a more ethereal answer like a soul.

In the spiritual sense God.
In a physical sense, the chemicals in our body stimulated by 'whatever' causes the electricity and many other reactions.
