Cats don't smell, dogs do. Could be you are sensitive to the odor, but no one else is.

My house smells moldy, but no one else smells it but me.

There are odor control sprays at your local stores, try until you find one that works for yo.
Fabreze is good, also baking soda kills odors.

kick ya cat out the house !! lmao

nah maybe spaying or neutering ya cat would minimize odors
also
There are several types of cat litter commercially available. Whatever litter you use, it should be absorbent. Some commercial litters are deodorized to minimize smells from the box.

Cats do not like to use a soiled litter box. Remove the soiled litter at least once a day – remove feces as soon as you find them. At least once a week, change the litter completely and wash the box thoroughly. You might also disinfect the box, but be careful to use disinfectants that do not contain phenol, which is extremely toxic to cats. Other strong disinfectants may smell offensive to cats and deter them from using the box.

the toilet trick works too
this is accomplished by lining the seat with plastic sheets remeber to haveit tight youdont want the cat falling in and sprinkle kitty litter on it (im sure i dont have to tell you the cat needs to know what a litterbox is first ) then do this often and let the cat know its there by placing him next to it often after a while the cat gets used to the seat when he starts using it jus dont place plastic anymore voila!! toilet trained kitty !!

You have two options. Get rid of the cat or move the litter box. I have two cats myself and my house does not smell. My litter box is in the garage. Put a cat door in the garage door and place the litter box out there. You will not smell the box at all.

Houses with cats ALWAYS smell from the cat even when the owner thinks it does not. If you walk into a stranger's house you can tell in a minute whether they have a cat living there.

You can minimize the stink by cleaning the litter box frequently but it is part of the price of cat ownership that you are going to have to live with.

For 4 cats, cleansing should be on a daily basis inspite of better than one field. I truly have 2 cats and one yet another day isn't sufficient with a large clutter field. There truly might want to be one clutter field in protecting with cat which include 1 on each and every element of the abode. A lined litterbox does wonders and stops cats from throwing clutter outdoors of it at the same time as masking up their messes and has a charcoal air clear out which will save the smell down. the automated bins receives crammed up truly instantly and do not do something about the clutter tracked everywhere. some cats are also too afraid to apply them. i in my opinion like the only I truly have, that is an magnificent "booda" field with an inner ramp and could carry an total 28lb field of the "particular Kitty" clutter that looks to artwork best for my cats and keeps the smell down (it is also the most inexpensive that is an fairly good bonus). The ramp stops ninety 9% of the clutter from being tracked outdoors of the field. you'll get mats that do an same ingredient in case you take advantage of a field and not using a ramp. i have also got here across that the better the volume of clutter in a clutter field the better it really is to sparkling and the a lot less smell there is. i in my opinion do not use the clutter field liners as my cats shred them.

Our kittens have their own little room (aka the laundry room) where we put their litter box. We also put the litter box inside of a box...so we don't have mounds of litter all over the floor. We vacuum every day and have air fresheners around the house. I would say put their box in the back of the house. No one even knows we have cats until they pop up because no one can smell their box.

Try smoke, like from a incense? Smoke takes out smells.
Being in the carpet industry fogging houses was common practice. This is a machine looks kinda like a hair dryer with a round jar type thing hooked to it for the liquid. Turn it on and it would get really hot, smoke would start pouring out the front. Everything had to be shut up, windows outside doors. When I finished a room had to shut the door behind me (could not see so I would make sure I was near the door).

Anyhoo who has the money for that little unit? If you do one can buy one from the professional carpet cleaning supply place. Incense do the same job just in a smaller way.....

Good luck!

BTW incense 10 cents a piece or around there....Bulk price anyhoo.

make sure kitty is drinking water--and not peeing or spraying anywhere.
have more than 1 litter pan, change the litter weekly, and de-turd it daily.
use natures miracle if kitty has made a mistake.
keep windows open idf there is no freezing cold weather.
keep litter pan in bathroom, and window of bathroom open.
clean house frequently.
do not use any carpet dust that makes houses smell pretty--cats do not do well with that stuff--swneeze, runny eyes, symptoms of illness. same as with air sprays.
just keep everything very clean. try litter with scent or deodorizer--try natures miracle litter.

How often? Maybe it needs to be changed more.

One thing we started doing was adding regular baking soda to regular clay litter and it has helped immensely.

We have also found that clay litter helps keep down the smell because it seems with scoopable all the "deposits" (clumps) aren't able to be all scooped up. Our experience is that it just seems to stink more than using clay litter and changing it more often than scoopable. (Clay is cheap...we buy at Walmart and pay less than $3 for a 25# bag.)

Get a hepa filter or Ionic Breeze, this helps filter out some of the cat dander & smell. I have to turn on my Ionic Breeze every time my BF comes over cause he has an allergy to cats; but when I turn on the Ionic reeze he's ok & dosent sneeze. Also if you go to a local pet store they have animal deodorant its a spray bottle (Like non-aresol hair spray) that comes in various scents, that helps the mask the scent.
