No. There was a stone age but how long was it?
If I pot a plant I don't use rock. I get aged peat, organics, sand, silt etc to provide a proper growing medium. I don't start with a rock and grind it for a few hundred years.
In the same way the earth could have taken a day or taken millions of years to form.
It depends on how powerful you believe God is.
If you think God is kinda wimpy and not really all THAT powerful, you might believe in millions or billions of years.
On the other hand if you think God is really the all powerful creator then you can believe in a day.
The example given in the new testament is Christ changing water into "the best wine".
Turning water into grape juice is cool. Koolaid would be impressive 2000 years ago.
Turning it into even cheap rot gut wine would have taken months.
Figure it out. What was Christ really demonstrating?

Well, I think the worlds view of the stone age was the Christians view of Noah and his family after the flood. There was absolutely nothing left and no one to craft tools.

The scriptures describe how and when people received these gifts of knowledge and craftsmanship. God delivered this instruction through angels to certain members of the Israelite family for the purpose of constructing the tabernacle and the ark and the temple. This knowledge was later used for other agendas.

Actually, I think Adam and Eve existed in the Stone Age. They're materials were very primative. Looking through the bible, very rarely does it mention metal weapons until it gets closer to the NT.
