I need to reprogram the remotes on my new Sonata but I can't find instructions. Can anyone help?

The dealer has to hook up their computer to the vehicle and reprogram the remotes through the body control module. Also; make sure you take all the remotes to the dealer. They will have to program all the remotes together. If one of the remotes is not programmed with the others it will not work. The dealer will usually charge between $45 and $95.

Just write to company straightaway. Programming sonata's remote is a difficult task as the embedded system technology is bit complex and reprogramming / programming it must be done as per the manual (and if u havent got it complain to the company) as i read somewhere online... unable to recall where...anyway my suggestion is get the task done by specialised and authorised company engineers

they will need to be programmed using the Hyundai diagnostic scan tool. all remotes will need to be programed together and should only take about 10 Min's.
