I thought I knew that someone truly loved me. I felt it so strongly, but I turned out to be wrong. I guess the only way of knowing if someone truly loves you is if they keep their promises to you. In my case, they never do.

You dont, you can never know trully what someone else is feeling. Just like some one doesnt know your true feelings 100%. But when you love someone and they say they love you, and if they do, you just have to trust that that person really loves you. Love isnt like the movies or fairytales, love is influenced by real life. Take all the things in your daily life and see how this person has made a differece in it. And all the good things(if they love you, there should be a lot of good things) should be a sign of their love. The difference that a person makes in your life and in yourself has a lot to do with how they feel about you!!! Good luck!!!

*Sigh* This would take me 3 hours to explain, so instead I'll say the fallowing:
You know when someone truly loves you, when they are willing to go out of their way...just for you. They are always willing to be there for you. The person is kind to you and is true to you. You must ask this person if they love you, if so, share the same feelings as this person does.

When a guy is in love with you, he isnt afraid of anything. He will break down and cry in front of you, and show his true self without worries. If he truly loves you, you will feel it. It is like butterflies in your tummy. When he hugs you you feel this sence of being safe and that nothign can hurt you. If he always wants to be with you, and close to you, holding your hands, or giving you kisses in public. Men dont like to show their emotions unless they are sincere about them. Good luck sweety.

I think that is a little difficult to say. My mom doesn't even know how to give me an answer. But if I did know I think the answer would be...If he really loves you he wouldn't be scared to share all of his secrets with you, he will do anything and everything for you, and if he actually loves you if you want to wait he will be willing to wait also without him going out and cheating.
