Are they on the highway to hell?
And I find it kinda harsh to not be able to get to God without going thru Christ...why can't we go straight to God? It's like going to confession when you can tell God your sins! P.S. i'm not catholic, just for the record!
please, no bashing!

Religion is rules and if you don't know the rules, you don't have religion. You might still not have religion even if you do know the rules because the rules are often pretty unpleasant and you can't just decide to ignore the ones you don't happen to like and still call yourself religious. That's against the rules.
The rule is, you don't get your turnstile token for the big easy if you don't lick Jesus's Rs. Being a really, really nice fella doesn't cut it. You got to lick that Rs or it's no go. Never mind that 'God's kingdom is for the good and the great and it doesn't matter if they weren't actually practising Christians'. That's not the rule. That's not the religion. The religion says 'here's the Lord's Rs, now lick it'

My dear, if ANYBODY had an answer to that question, that could be shown to be absolutely accurate in any way, there wouldn't still be so many different religions and so many different beliefs. The person with that kind of evidence to back what he believed, would be rushing headlong to his local newspaper office, or T.V. Station, and before long the newswires would be smoking as that information was being transmitted to every corner of the world, and by the very next morning that person's name would be a household word, and his or her face would be on the front page of every newspaper on the planet, because no way would that person be able to just keep that information to himself. This, of course, has not happened, has it? And people continue arguing, fighting, even killing one another because each one believes HE is right, and everybody who thinks something different is wrong.

I don't believe that it is anywhere in the bible that says "receive Jesus as Saviour."
It also doesn't say which religion is the correct one. Or that you have to be in a building to worship God.
I believe that if God was powerful enough to create the whole world, that he is powerful enough to know what is in your mind.
It does say that you can speak to God through Jesus. Nothing is said about using a middle man, like a preacher, to talk to him.

It is impossible to find God and not understand the Christ. Not much will change for eternity until you strive to enter in and there is only one way. The living, suffering, and dying cycle will not disappear until one finds the door and enters. If people would learn this one fact while still in this age, I couldn't even imagine how things would change and how fast.

Muslims believe Jesus (Isa) was born of a virgin mother (Maryam) but that he was NOT the son of God.
They reject the Trinity and embrace the Oneness of God.
You could always try Islam. At its core, it's practically the same thing. Even the Pope said that Christians and Muslims worship the same god.

To begin with, I'm not a atheist. I just don't think that Jesus ever existed. It seems to me that you're just reaching the age of reason. Listen to yourself. Jesus was invented to control you. So was the Bible. He's the product of 12 different ancient Egyptian and Greek Gods. And there story predates Jesus by 1,500 years.

If you read The 16th chapter of Luke in the Bible it will give a clear picture of what happens to us when we leave this life. The first three chapters of John also tell us what to do. There are other places but that is a good starting place.

Christ says that he is the ONLY way to God...the only door to God. If someone doesn't receive Jesus then their sins aren't forgiven and they will go to hell, even if they believe in a god.

Well, you may not get to have an audience with God. Jesus said only through me can you reach the father. So, if you have a problem in the afterlife you may not be able to take it up with God directly.

Not understanding your religion is normal in that different interpretations confuses everybody.
I have to answer your question with another question. Are all those individuals in remote areas of the world going to be saved when they never heard of Christ?
